A Humanitarian Mission for the Middle East and Africa
Hidden Treasures Association is a nonprofit humanitarian association established with one central purpose: to help people live with dignity, safety, and hope. We develop and support humanitarian projects for vulnerable families and communities where poverty, conflict, displacement, drought, and limited access to essential services have left millions struggling to meet their most basic needs.
Our mission is to improve lives by providing essential humanitarian assistance and creating long-term opportunities for individuals, families, and communities in need.
We believe that every human being — regardless of nationality, religion, ethnicity, gender, or social background — deserves access to food, safe housing, clean water, healthcare, education, and personal security.
Our work is guided by humanity, dignity, fairness, transparency, and respect for the communities we serve. Every project represents more than assistance — it represents dignity, compassion, and hope.
A safe home is the foundation of a stable life. We support emergency shelter, repair damaged homes, assist displaced families, and develop affordable housing for people living in unsafe conditions — creating secure environments where families can rebuild their lives and children can grow with stability and hope.
We provide emergency food packages, nutritional support for children and mothers, community kitchens, and sustainable agricultural assistance. Whenever possible, we support local farmers and suppliers so that humanitarian aid also strengthens local economies and promotes long-term food security.
Access to healthcare should not depend on income or location. Our health initiatives include mobile medical clinics, essential medicines, maternal and child healthcare, medical equipment, preventive screenings, vaccination support, and assistance for people living with chronic illnesses or disabilities.
Clean water is essential to life, health, and human dignity. We support the construction and rehabilitation of wells, water-treatment systems, sanitation facilities, and distribution networks — plus hygiene education and community-based water management for lasting impact.
During conflicts, natural disasters, and disease outbreaks, we respond by delivering food, water, medicine, temporary shelter, and hygiene supplies — coordinated with experienced local organizations so assistance reaches affected people safely, quickly, and fairly.
Humanitarian assistance saves lives, but opportunity helps rebuild them. We support education, vocational training, small-business development, and livelihood programs — investing in knowledge and economic opportunity so families can move beyond temporary relief and build a secure future.
Our primary focus is the Middle East and Africa, where many communities face severe humanitarian and developmental challenges. Projects are selected based on verified needs, potential impact, local conditions, and our ability to provide responsible oversight.
While these regions remain our principal focus, our humanitarian values are universal. When resources permit, assistance may also be provided to communities experiencing serious hardship elsewhere — including a helping hand for newcomers building a new life in the United States.
Before beginning a project, we seek to understand local needs, culture, priorities, and available resources. We work with community leaders, nonprofit organizations, healthcare providers, engineers, educators, volunteers, government agencies, and responsible private-sector partners — so every project is relevant, respectful, measurable, and sustainable.
The trust of donors, partners, and beneficiaries is one of our most important responsibilities. We are committed to responsible financial management, careful project selection, appropriate oversight, and clear reporting — with defined objectives, documented budgets, implementation timelines, and measurable results, so donations are used efficiently for their intended humanitarian purposes.
Our work is not based only on giving material assistance. It is based on recognizing the value of every human life.
A food package can help a family survive a difficult month. A clean-water well can protect an entire village from disease. A safe home can restore stability to displaced parents and children. Medical treatment can give someone another chance at life. Education and employment can transform a family's future for generations.

Hidden Treasures Association was founded by Dr. Emil Hakim, an American entrepreneur, investor, author, mentor, and philanthropist with more than 30 years of experience building companies and creating opportunity across multiple industries and international markets.
Holding a Doctorate in Theology, Dr. Hakim believes that true wealth is measured by the lives we lift. Through Hidden Treasures, he brings a lifetime of business leadership to a single humanitarian purpose: helping families live with dignity, safety, and hope.
The humanitarian challenges facing the Middle East and Africa are significant, but meaningful change is possible when people work together. We invite donors, volunteers, professionals, businesses, foundations, and humanitarian organizations to join this mission — providing homes for families without shelter, food for those facing hunger, medical care for the sick, clean water for underserved communities, and renewed hope for people who feel forgotten.
